Post Malone & Morgan Wallen’s “I Had Some Help” Smashes Spotify Record For Biggest Streaming Day For A Country Song

Already smashing records.

Post Malone officially kicked off his entrance into country music yesterday with the release of “I Had Some Help,” his much-anticipated collab with Morgan Wallen.

Reaction to the new song was mixed, with some calling the literally the best song they’ve ever heard (let’s pump the brakes a little bit on that) while some were disappointed at the production changes that had been made since the teasers dropped.

But regardless of what people think about the song, they’re streaming the sh*t out of it.

Not only did “I Have Some Help” immediately shoot to the top of the iTunes charts, but it also broke the Spotify record for the most single-day streams for a country song.

It also broke the record for the biggest debut for an all-male collaboration of any genre, racking up 13.9 million streams in 24 hours.

And as a cherry on top, Morgan is now the top global artist on Spotify for the first time in his career.

Morgan and Posty will likely debut at #1 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 chart when it’s released this week. So regardless of how you feel about the song, it’s undeniable that this thing is massive.
