The King himself, George Strait, has a new tune dropping tonight called “MIA Down in MIA,” which is the first official single from his forthcoming Cowboys and Dreamers album:
Strait announced at a show at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis a little over a week ago that he is putting out a new record sometime this year, saying before he played a new track called “Three Drinks Behind” that it’s pretty much ready to go:
“We are going to do a few new things tonight. We’ve got a new record it’s called ‘Cowboys and Dreamers.’ It’s going to be coming out soon.”
We don’t have much in the way of details in terms of a release date yet, but George did debut a new song called “Honky Tonk Hall Of Fame” with Chris Stapleton recently too, which I can’t wait to hear:
