Luke Combs Teases New Album “Full Of Dad Songs”

Music

Could we be getting a new Luke Combs album just in time for Father’s Day?

I wouldn’t be surprised…

The country superstar has been teasing new songs for quite a while now, and it seems as though he might be ready to put out some new tunes.

In a post in Instagram earlier, he replied to a fans comment saying he should release “a new album full fdad songs please” with a video and the caption:

“Honestly not a bad idea…”

From tearjerkers like “Take Me Out To The Ballgame,” and “The Man He Sees In Me,” and heartfelt ballads like “Huntin’ By Yourself” and “Plant A Seed,” Luke seemingly already has a stacked group of songs, mostly about being a dad and life lessons for and from dad’s, that certainly would make a fantastic album.

And with Father’s Day right around the corner on June 16th, maybe we can at least get a studio cut of some of the ones he’s teased already:

Luke most recently released his Gettin’ Old album last year, but this one already seems to be an extremely personal project, whatever it may be, that any parent can relate to in some form or fashion.

Luke has two boys under two, Tex who was born in 2022 and Beau who was born last August, so it makes sense as to why fatherhood has clearly inspired his recent music.

And while I’m not a parent yet, these unreleased songs have already brought tears to my eyes to think about even from my own dad’s perspective, and I think I speak for all of us fans when I say I’m really looking forward to this new music and the depth of writing and meaning that’s been shown on all of them thus far.

Stay tuned…
