Miranda Lambert Gives Fans The Five Songs During Which They Can Fight At Her Concerts After Recent Brawl During “Tin Man”

Music

I don’t know, Miranda… kinda feels like asking for more trouble.

Over the weekend, Miranda Lambert headlined a show at Momentum Bank Ballpark in Midland, Texas, and she had to play referee when she noticed a girl fight breaking out during “Tin Man,” which is typically (and supposed to be) a very stripped-back and powerful moment in her set.

But in a video shared by a fan at the show, you can see Miranda playing the striking ballad when she notices something’s going on near the front of the crowd.

At first, she seems think someone is hurt or overheated and dealing with a medical emergency, though she quickly realizes that it’s a full on brawl and tells them to stop. My favorite part is when she tells the girls she’s gonna go “east Texas red” on their asses and jokes that “he’s not worth it” (obviously implying that they’re fighting over a boy).

Eventually, she grows frustrated, presumably how slow the police are handling the situation, and tells them to just remove the one girl who looks to be about 5’4, saying they can just “throw her over” their shoulder and get on with it.

If there’s absolutely one thing in this world I would never want, it’s Miranda Lambert getting off stage during a performance to beat my a**. Here’s the video if you haven’t seen it yet:

She has mentioned before that girls are prone to fight during “Mama’s Broken Heart” but really, I do not understand the “Tin Man” thing and neither does she.

Miranda shared a hilarious video on Instagram earlier, telling her fans to stop fighting during that ballad because it’s simply “not the time” (duh), and instead giving them five other song options to let fists fly during.

She actually said she’s “all about” the fighting during her songs, but only during the appropriate times and it’s kinda of brilliant:

“If you wanna fight at my shows, I’m all about it, give ’em hell. I’ve got five songs for you. ‘Fastest Girl in Town,’ ‘Kerosene,’ ‘Little Red Wagon,’ ‘Wranglers,’ ‘Gunpowder & Lead.’

Don’t do it during ‘Tin Man.’ That’s not the time. I know you can hear the sh*t talking because it’s a ballad but that’s not the time. So pick your times. You’ve got five songs. Look at the set list and choose wisely.”

If you’re seeing her anytime soon, just make sure you take a peak at the set list beforehand and make sure you get the fight in during the appropriate aforementioned songs… just know you might be escorted out and not be able to see the whole concert happen:

Personally, I think I’d go for it “Kerosene” or “Gunpowder & Lead”…
