Ernest Leading Thousands Of English Fans In Singing “Happy Birthday” To America On The Fourth Of July Is As Good As It Gets

Time really does heal all wounds, I guess…

Ernest is currently over in London performing at Hyde Park, opening for Morgan Wallen as he headlines the iconic park tonight, which is the largest of the parks and green spaces that form a chain from Kensington Palace through Kensington Gardens.

Artists like Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, The Rolling Stones, Pearl Jam and more have all headlined shows there, so needless to say, it’s a huge moment for the Tennessee native in his career.

The park holds roughly 65,000 people, and after Morgan performed in London for the first time last December, he felt the overwhelming love from fans in the UK, saying their energy at the O2 arena carried “such immense force that it could not be contained by the colossal venue.”

And it’s obviously really funny that they’re playing the massive London park on the Fourth of July, and I’m sure also pretty strange for them not to be partaking in any July 4th, all-American traditions on the actual day of.

But Ernest didn’t let those circumstances stop him from trolling the thousands of UK fans who are in attendance for the show, as he lead them all in singing “Happy Birthday” to America this afternoon… and they actually did it.

For some reason I find that kind of surprising, and completely hilarious, and Ernest somehow won the Fourth of July all the way in England… you have to check out the video he shared on Instagram.

‘Merica, baby. You love to see it:
