Going home.
Today, Morgan Wallen announced a new show as part of his 2024 One Night At A Time stadium tour, headlining headline Neyland Stadium this September.
Of course, Morgan is from the east Tennessee area and is a massive Volunteers fan, so I’m sure it will be an incredibly special moment and dream come true for him to play what will certainly be a sold out show at the 101,915 capacity venue.
The concert will be held on Sunday, September 22nd, with his friends HARDY and ERNEST opening the show.
Morgan reactivated his Instagram this morning to share the news, and says it will be a career-defining moment:
“I’ve had the honor of playing in a lot of college, MLB and NFL stadiums the past two years, but getting to play to my hometown at Neyland Stadium, nothing tops this for a boy from East Tennessee”
And with Morgan canceling three stadium shows in Tampa in Charlotte just in the last week, I’ve already seen some comments about him coming through, so hopefully for fans buying tickets, it will go off without a hitch.
Tickets go on-sale at 11 AM EST this Wednesday, July 17th:
He most recently released the fan-favorite single “Lies Lies Lies,” and continues to top the country charts with his duet with Post Malone “I Had Some Help.”
