This one will get the boots scootin’.
It’s been a few months since we’ve gotten new music from Justin Moore (one of the most underrated country artists in the business, but more on that later…stay tuned).
Justin dropped his latest single, the sentimental “This Is My Dirt,” towards the end of last year. But now he’s gearing up to hit us with some more heat.
The Arkansas native dropped a teaser of a new song called “Put A Boot In It” that’s dropping this Friday, and this one’s a certified twanger. From the clip that he dropped, it seems like this one is calling out the current trend we’ve seen lately from everybody who’s seeking to capitalize on the popularity of country music – whether they know anything about actually being country or not:
“We can see your BS from a red dirt mile away
You ain’t foolin’ no one with your Realtree or your slang
Talkin’ like you’re one of us, but you’re more country club
I’m about to take your country club
And put a boot in it”
I guess we’ll have to wait to hear the full song on Friday, but one thing’s for sure: This one’s going to be a heater.
