Tyler Halverson Continues To Impress With Latest Single “Closer”

Music

Tyler Halverson has been on a roll this year.

The South Dakota native and Nashville-based troubadour released a five track EP earlier this year and just followed that up with a must-listen rodeo tune titled “New Loop” that was featured on the massive Twisters: The Album soundtrack alongside several of country music’s biggest names.

He’s also landed some huge opening gigs for bands like the Turnpike Troubadours, and has made the lineup at festivals like Born & Raised and Austin City Limits.

With all of this well-timed exposure and a rapidly growing fanbase, Halverson’s latest single “Closer” is poised to be one of his biggest yet as tons of new fans latch onto his uniquely easy going and laid back style of country music.

A catchy and romantic track about falling in love, Halverson provided some brief context into the new track in a press release circulated by his team at Atlantic Records.

I wrote this one with my good buddy Jon Decious on day in Nashville. It’s about how your ‘come over’ turns to ‘let’s go home.’ It’s a story of falling and then falling even deeper for someone.”
