Post Malone is still hitting the town after the release of F-1 Trillion.
Over the weekend, fans have been praising Malone for his debut country album. The star-studded record features appearances from the most prominent players in country music. To surprise fans even further hours after the record dropped, he shared F-1 Trillion: Long Bed, an extension of the record highlighting nine more solo tracks.
But Post Malone hitting the streets of Broadway after the album release shows that he is here to stay in country music. Like many other artists that have crossed over from one genre to another, some fans are not the biggest fans of it. However, instead of shoving his country music down listeners’ throats, Post Malone dropped his album and then went back to singing the hit singles that helped define the genre.
Since Malone started singing country covers in local DFW restaurants early in his career, it’s fun to see him perform the singles he listened to as a young adult. Yesterday, after stopping by Grimey’s record store, Post Malone hit another Nashville staple, Robert’s Western World. The Broadway bar is the local spot that artists love to stop in.

Malone is no stranger to Robert’s and has stopped in before, and is keeping the roll going, stopping in once again for a Sunday Funday jam. Sporting a trucker hat from Little Bird Trucking, a brand created by Marcus King’s wife, he stepped on stage and fired up the crowd with a little George Jones. Over the last few months, we have seen Malone cover Hank Williams Jr., Tyler Childers, George Strait, Toby Keith, Sturgill Simpson, and many more, so it’s about time a little Possum is thrown into the mix.
With a beer and cigarette in hand, Malone steps up to the microphone and belts out, “I’m A One Woman, Man.” The 1988 single from George Jones was his final top 10 hit of his career and was released as the lead single for his record One Woman Man.

Post Malone digs deep in his vocal range to hit the low notes in the chorus and nails the rest of the lyrics. The audience is chattering in the background, which one could only hope is from the shock that they so happened to pick the bar Post Malone was going to show up at.
