“We are going to create some groundbreaking moments together through this partnership,” the brothers said of their deal with the Amazon company
Jason and Travis Kelce‘s New Heights is heading to Wondery. On Tuesday, the Amazon-owned podcast company revealed that they struck a three-year deal with the NFL bros over their podcast, giving the Wondery advertising sales and distribution rights.
Although it’s unconfirmed how much the deal is worth, both CNN and Variety report that the deal is in the $100 million range. (A rep for Travis Kelce did not immediately respond to Rolling Stone‘s request for comment.)
“We couldn’t be more excited to team up with Wondery for the next phase of New Heights,” Travis and Jason Kelce said in a statement about the podcast. “We love this show, and the fanbase that has grown with us over the last two seasons. Wondery understands the shared vision and will offer a wealth of experience and resources to take us to New Heights!”
“We are going to create some groundbreaking moments together through this partnership,” the brothers added. “We are thrilled to start Season 3 — see you soon, 92%ers!”
The show’s next podcast episode is slated to drop on Wednesday. The deal is set to include the podcast’s back catalog, and will allow Wondery to monetize and distribute audio and video episodes of the first two seasons. (New Heights won Podcast of the Year at the 2024 iHeartPodcast Awards.)
The show features the two brothers talking about their lives off and on the field, and also features special celebrity guests. It also served as the first place where Travis Kelce opened up about his relationship with Taylor Swift last summer.
“‘New Heights’ on the surface is a sports podcast, and sports is such a well-listened-to category,” Wondery CEO Jen Sargent said in a statement. “But it’s become a cultural phenomenon — they’re in that cultural zeitgeist.”
