Good day for Georgia fans.
The Bulldogs weren’t able to three-peat last year after getting left out of the College Football Playoffs following their SEC championship game loss to Alabama. But Georgia looked like there’s no reason to believe they won’t once again be in the championship conversation this year after a dominant win over #14 Clemson led by star quarterback Carson Beck.
Everything seemed to go the Bulldogs’ way on the field today at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. But one group of Georgia fans watching from the bar had a pretty good day too, thanks to up-and-coming country music superstar Megan Moroney.
There was no “Tennessee Orange” to be found for the Georgia grad today, but she did celebrate with her fellow Bulldog fans by leading the bar in the time-honored Georgia tradition of “Calling the Dawgs.”
After hopping on the bar and leading the crowd in the team’s chant, Moroney bought a round of shots for the entire bar, no doubt making the day even better for the group of fans who are feeling pretty good about their team right now.
@m3ggym0r0n3y she’s so real for this 😭😭 #meganmoroney #uga #ugafootball ♬ Am I Okay? – Megan Moroney
And I’ll give her credit, she did a pretty good job calling the Dawgs…but it’s still hard to top Pat McAfee’s legendary performance last year during the SEC Championship game. (If you’re a Bulldogs fan, you might not want to watch this one again).
