Who needs Taylor Swift’s endorsement when you’ve got the Redneck Woman?
Of course Taylor hasn’t endorsed anybody yet, but it’s widely expected that she’s going to throw her name behind Vice President Kamala Harris at some point before the November election.
And that’s not really a surprise. When it comes to celebrity endorsements, most of them go to Democrats. And nobody really cares who Taylor Swift or George Clooney or really any celebrity is voting for. If you’re basing your vote on who a billionaire thinks you should vote for, chances are you’re voting against your own interests anyway. (Sorry, didn’t mean to get on my soapbox there).
But nevertheless, former President Donald Trump just got the support of one Grammy-award winning country star.
Gretchen Wilson appeared at the GOP nominee’s rally today in Mosinee, Wisconsin to not only sing the national anthem, but to offer her support for President Trump in November:

As a songwriter I pay close attention to words. The words that are being used, and the words that are not being used. I urge all Americans to pay close attention to what you are hearing and not hearing from the media, because the issues that are most important for our survival are what we’re voting on.
I’m here today to entertain you, but I’m also here today to show my support for the only team in this race that is telling the truth. My story isn’t really that rare, but the American dream that I have been fortunate enough to find will almost certainly be lost forever if we do not show up and vote for freedom in November…
Let’s make sure we the people do all we can to save our country by voting for President Trump and JD Vance.”
Trump also had praise for Gretchen after her speech:

Along with Gretchen, several others in the country music community have been vocal about their support for President Trump, including Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany, Travis Tritt, John Rich, Kid Rock, and newcomer Gavin Adcock.
