Treaty Oak Revival To Release New Single, “Happy Face”

Music

We’ve been waiting on this one.

Treaty Oak Revival has not slowed down since the release of their 2023 album Have A Nice Day. Being on the road non-stop, their rowdy energy draws fans from near and far to see the West Texas group belt out their hits.

Although Have A Nice Day satiated fans for a bit, the group has been teasing new music while on the road, thus re-igniting their listeners’ hunger for new music. Earlier this summer, Treaty Oak Revival teased on Twitter that an acoustic project was in the works, and while fans are still hoping that it will come to fruition, they are giving us something to hold our need for new tunes.

Last night, the group announced their next single, “Happy Face,” and they are giving it to fans SOON. This Friday, September 13th, new Treaty Oak Revival will hit streaming platforms.

“Happy Face available this Friday, 9/13.”

This song is not entirely new, however, for some fans who have attended shows this year. The group has taken his song to the stage, and it’s a heater. In May, leader singer Sam Canty noted that they were playing the song for the first time live and gave a little backstory as to what inspired the track.

“It could suck incredibly bad. This is our first time playing it in front of a crowd. I wrote this song about missing my wife.”

They noted at that time that they had still yet to record the song, so after seeing the overwhelmingly positive response on social media when the unreleased track went viral, they wasted no time getting into the studio to lay it down.

The tender lyrics detail the chaotic life of chasing your dreams on the road but longing for those special people to share the career milestones with you while on tour. Instead of being blue, though, Canty reminds himself of the “Happy Face” in his corner cheering him on from home.

I can’t wait to hear the studio cut of this one. Fire it up.
