Riley Green, Ella Langley and Jamey Johnson together? That’s a lot of talent packed onto one stage.
And it was a fitting occasion, since the trio of country music artists were all together to celebrate the 20th birthday of Loser’s Bar and Grill in Nashville. It was also an effort that celebrated the grand opening of Green’s new Music City bar – The Duck Blind.
The three country singers from Alabama played to a rowdy crowd that was there to help commemorate the Nashville bar’s milestone, and those in attendance were treated to a real gem when the trio of artists fired up a signature song from Jamey Johnson’s catalogue.
The 49-year-old singer-songwriter got “In Color” started on his own, and had Green and Langley join in once they got to the chorus:

We already knew that Riley Green and Ella Langley sounded great together thanks to the recent success of their duets – “You Look Like You Love Me” and “Don’t Mind If I Do.” And we probably should have seen this team-up coming considering Johnson had a cameo in the music video for “You Look Like You Love Me.”
Regardless, the young powerhouse duo of Green and Langley somehow managed to sound even better by adding the respected and accomplished Jamey Johnson into the mix. And it’s always great to see different generations of country music artists collaborating – especially when it sounds this good.
Three’s a crowd doesn’t apply here:
