Riley Green Does His Best Burt Reynolds In ‘Smokey & The Bandit’-Inspired Tour Announcement Video, & It’s The Best Thing You’ll See All Day

Music

Ladies, you’re welcome.

Today, Riley Green announced his headlining 2025 Damn Country Music tour, which features a stellar lineup in openers Ella Langley, Drake White, Vincent Mason, Lauren Watkins, Jake Worthington, Preston Cooper, Erik Dylan, Wyatt McCubbin, Mike Ryan and Channing Wilson.

It will be one of the best lineups from top to bottom for a tour next year, in my humble opinion, but the best part about the tour announcement wasn’t exactly the city dates or anything like that… it was Riley as Bandit from the iconic 1977 Smokey and the Bandit film.

Obviously, the movie originally starred the great Burt Reynolds, who was always a favorite among the ladies for obvious reasons. So when I first saw the promo photos of Riley as Bandit, I knew it was gonna be good…

I mean, it’s no secret that the ladies love Riley, and he pulls off Bandit quite well, as you’ll see in the video below.

In addition to his supporting cast of characters with great radio names like Smoke Show (Ella Langley), Soul Eagle (Drake White), Shirley Temple (Lauren Watkins) and more, it’s one of the best, most creative and on brand tour announcements I’ve ever seen.

Riley, also known as Duckman in real life and in the video, is gearing up to release his third studio album Don’t Mind If I Do on October 18th and I can’t wait to hear all the new music he has coming.

He previously released the title track that features Ella “Don’t Mind If I Do” a couple weeks ago, and it’s a beautiful song that sets the tone for this to be one of Riley’s most impressive, meaningful records yet.

But seriously… make sure you watch the video here. I need this to be full blown movie ASAP. Team Duckman is out here doing the Lord’s work, and for that I am thankful. It will make your Wednesday so much better, and that’s a promise:
