Jason Aldean… Grammy-nominated country music singer, ACM Entertainer of the Year, and quite the philanthropist, lately.

Earlier this week, Jason Aldean held a benefit concert to raise money for the children’s hospital in his hometown of Macon, Georgia.

Alongside his wife Brittany, as well as his kids Memphis and Navy, Jason presented a check for a whopping $618,000 and change.

“Last night we raised over half a million dollars for the Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital in Macon, Georgia. Thank you guys for coming out and making it possible.”

But that’s not all…

To close out his Highway Desperado Tour in his hometown of Macon, Georgia, Jason teamed up with Georgia Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones to present a check for over $6.5 million dollars to Samaritan’s Purse, which was raised through Donald Trump’s Go Fund Me.

And he added a cool $500 grand of his own money on top of it, to bring the total to more than $7 million.

He told the crowd:

“My wife is from Charlotte, North Carolina, and as we know, North Carolina got hammered pretty hard by this, so we also want to donate to the state of Georgia and Florida to Samaritan’s Purse as well.

Obviously, Georgia means a lot to us, Carolina means a lot to her and we’re gonna try our best to take care of them the bets we can.”

Following the presentation of the checks, a video from Donald Trump played, thanking fans for all their support and donations, as well as encouraging the concert crowd to vote.

Jason and Brittany shared a quick recap of the night, with the caption:

“Last night, we presented $7,039,604 for the victims of hurricane Helene. Thank you to everyone who donated to Donald Trump’s Go Fund Me over the last 5 days and Burt Jones for helping make it such an amazing night.”

The Aldeans join Morgan Wallen, Miranda Lambert, Dolly Parton and more in donating money to hurricane relief.

Respect.
