What a guy.
Wyatt Flores often shares that he is in awe that his fans and listeners are making his wildest dreams come true, and now Flores is making a fan’s wildest dreams come true. Over the weekend, before the show, Wyatt Flores was approached by a fan and an aspiring artist and decided he needed to highlight this young talent in front of his fans.
Brody Jackson and his family drove from Florida to Alabama to see Wyatt Flores. While they were eating lunch near the venue, they saw Flores get out of a car near his bus.
“My wife and I took our kids to Birmingham to see Wyatt Flores yesterday. We drove up from Florida. We were eating lunch next door to the venue, and as we were leaving, we saw Wyatt.
Wyatt was kind enough to take photos with us. My son, Brody, told him about his first gig in a couple of weeks. Brody also asked Wyatt to sign his guitar.”
Brody’s father told Whiskey Riff.
After Wyatt sang a few songs with the 16-year-old, Brody informed Flores that his first gig ever was coming up in November. Wyatt then told Brody that his first gig was not going to be for a few weeks… but that night. Brody’s talent blew him away, so he invited him to sing a few songs to his fans, opening the show for him that night.
Later that night, Flores introduced Jackson to the stage, telling fans the story of how they met and got to this moment.
“I was with my manager, I was coming from a radio interview. We were backing the car in, and this guy came out of nowhere, and I ended up talking with him. He ended up bringing his guitar, and he sang me two songs.
He told me his first show was on November 8th. Which I said, today seems like a good day for a show, and so we are going to give him some time here on stage. This is his first-ever show.
His name’s Brody Jackson. Y’all be kind to him, alright? Treat him well.”
Brody confidently steps up to the microphone, addressing the crowd and saying he’s going to play some cover songs for them before Flores takes the stage. With that, Brody begins strumming his guitar and starts singing Tyler Childers’ “Jersey Giant.”
Brody sang six songs in total, and later that night, Flores invited him back on stage to join him for “Please Don’t Go.”

Brody’s delivery is confident and collected as if he’s been doing this for much longer than he has. If Flores hadn’t told fans this was his first show, you would not have assumed he’s never played for a crowd.
Flores made a memory that will last forever for Brody Jackson. Brody Jackson’s second show will have a lot to live up to in a few weeks.
