Brutal start for the Chicago Bears…
The Detroit Lions are obviously a Super Bowl contender this year, but this one admittedly felt like a trap game. Maybe that was just a homer pick on my part, but the Bears played the Lions tough twice last year, and if not for a pretty bad collapse, would’ve beat them twice. The offense has looked A LOT better under Thomas Brown… I don’t know, I had a good feeling they could keep it close.
And… I was wrong.
Down 16 to 0 heading into the half, with a putrid 7 minutes of offensive possession, the Bears are officially cooked (23-13 at the time of the blog).
And if they weren’t a big enough laughing stock, once again I say this as longtime Bears fan, country music star Shaboozey was nearly on the field as long as Caleb Williams and the Bears offense.
The Bears just barely eclipsed 7 minutes, and Shaboozey’s halftime performance was over 6 and a half. Nearly the same…

Overall, the performance was pretty good… sure beats the hell outta Jack Harlow last year:
