The internet sleuths are at it again.
The Megan Moroney/Riley Green sightings are back, this time after eagle-eyed fans are claiming that his hand is (allegedly) in the background of her latest Instagram post
Too good to be true, or just good enough to keep us all invested?
The internet FBI is back at it again y’all. For a while, folks have been trying to piece together whether or not country stars Megan Moroney and Riley Green are actually a thing. People online are convinced they’re a couple, and his time, the evidence is a suspiciously familiar looking hand.
Megan’s recent Instagram photo dump is captioned “this is the lifeeeeeee hold on tight” (something I would also caption if I was with Riley Green). It was a collection of what seemed like pictures from her beach getaway back in January, or at least on boats and on the water, and, of course, her holding up a freshly caught Mahi-Mahi. Super impressive by the way.
Anyways, in the far side of the fish pic, fans honed in on a tiny detail: a man’s hand visible and sporting what seems to be a Rolex. And not just any Rolex: They’re convinced it’s the Rolex that Riley Green has been seen wearing in multiple pictures.

If you’ve been following along, this isn’t the first time the internet has been convinced these two were sneaking around together. A few weeks back, people were certain that they were at the same resort in St. Barts. Then the deep dive kept getting deeper, finding her wearing what seemed to be Riley’s cowboy hat…in nashville…at his Duck Blind bar.

Just when we thought the speculation had died down, the watch has everyone talking again. And instagram and tik tok has a lot to say:

And yes, it is just a silver watch. And even after sleuths have moved on to Riley and Megan, we’re still seeing a few comments about him Ella Langley, his collaborator on songs like “You Look Like You Love Me” and “Don’t Mind If I Do.”

And honestly, I think it’s time they drop that. Just accept it yall, Country music’s two hottest stars might actually be a thing.
My favorite comment of all, though, was on Megan’s post, with a gif from Riley’s steamy “Worst Way” music video he released just yesterday, with no caption at all…
And that just about sums it up. These two keep dropping breadcrumbs, and the internet is eating up every last one.
At this point, it feels like they’re slowly preparing our hearts for the hard launch—wouldn’t be surprised if it’s coming sooner rather than later…
