Riley Green & Ella Langley Are Back On Tour Together, & Fans Are STILL Convinced They’re Dating: “Something Going On With These Two Again”

Music

No matter how many times they say they’re not together, people want to believe it, and I get it.

Of course, Ella Langley and Riley Green scored a major hit with their duet “You Look Like You Love Me” last year, which was first written by Ella with Aaron Ratiere, and Riley came up with the words for his second verse later on, after Ella had already cut it as a solo song.

Ella previously talked about how fast they wrote the first version, after she was inspired by what she called the “talking country” she grew up on, specifically one of her first favorite songs in David Coe’s “You Never Even Called Me by My Name.” “YLLYLM” was included on Ella’s 2024 debut studio album Hungover, and became one of the biggest hits of the year.

It hit #1 at country radio last year, and the pair also won the CMA Award for Musical Event of the Year for “You Look Like You Love Me” as well. It was a massive, viral hit in every sense, and of course, because of the flirty nature of the song and the obvious (friendly) chemistry between them, dating rumors that Riley and Ella were an item were flying for months.

Both parties have separately said that they’re “just friends,” and Riley has talked about how people want to think they’re together just because it makes the song more fun, and I can totally see that. But Riley has also been rumored to at least be seeing Megan Moroney in some capacity, so who knows… he’s obviously a hit with the ladies.

But this past weekend, Riley and Ella played a concert in Statesboro, Georgia, where they of course performed “YLLYLM,” as well as “Don’t Mind If I Do,” which was the title track and one of my favorites from Riley’s 2024 album. Riley is gearing up to hit the road on his extensive Damn Country Music Tour, and Ella is his direct support every night, so we’re going to be seeing a lit more of them together over the next several months.

Several videos from the weekend have gone viral on TikTok, and because fans can’t help themselves, they’re getting those dating rumors going again. Here’s one of the videos:

People in the comments of all of them from this weekend I’ve seen are convinced that, even though they’ve said otherwise, there’s something going on here:

“The arm touch”

“They’re so cute together.”

“There’s definitely chemistry between them!”

“She’s so pretty and he’s so gorgeous!”

“Oh they are so back”

“Omg you can tell they are in love.”

“She seems soo different here… happy.”

“They’re soooo good together.”

“I thought he was dating Megan Moroney.”

“They gotta be getting it on, if not dang, they are missing out!”

“From avoiding eye contact back to can’t keep their eyes off each other.”

“Her body language is different tonight.”

“Oh something going on with these two again. Stay tuned y’all.”

“Ella saw the music video too lol.”

“Oooh she’s in her revenge era.”

“He said, She could crash my car!”

“Why are they trying to fight it… I mean we clearly can see it.”

And a little bit of “Don’t Mind If I Do”:

With the tour just about to go into full swing, the rumors will probably only continue to amp up again… stay tuned.
