Two flower vendors were detained on Monday near the Forest Lawn cemetery in the Hollywood Hills, witnesses reported.

Empty stands and unattended bouquets of flowers are all that’s been left behind at the site where the reported detainment occurred. Two vendors who also sell goods in the area said they saw a man and a woman being taken.

“The lady that we just saw, like, she probably had a kid and a husband at home and they’re waiting for her to get home,” the vendor, who is a U.S. citizen, said. “And the other worker they took from us, we know he has a wife and a daughter at home, and they took him, which is kind of sad.”

Other operations were reported on Monday near Home Depot stores across Los Angeles, including in Cypress Park, Hollywood and North Hollywood.

NBC4 has reached out to Forest Lawn for comment.
