Traffic stopped on 10 Freeway in Claremont – NBC Los Angeles

A man was killed during a multi-vehicle crash Saturday morning on the 10 Freeway in Claremont, authorities said.    

The crash occurred at 5:10 a.m. on the eastbound freeway, just west of South Indian Hill Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.    

According to CHP Officer Mike Nasir, the victim was an adult male.

It involved a big rig, a Toyota Camry, a Lexus and a Mercedes-Benz, the CHP said.

The CHP issued a SigAlert at 5:31 a.m. shutting down all lanes of the eastbound freeway at South Indian Hill Boulevard.

There was no other immediate information available.
