Three people, including a teenage girl, were shot and killed inside a Lakewood home, authorities said Thursday.
Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to a residence on Lorelei Avenue near South Street in a residential neighborhood of Lakewood.
The victims, one male adult, one female adult, and a 17-year-old girl, were found with gunshot wounds to the upper torse, the LASD said.
When the responding deputies arrived, they saw a woman, uninjured, running out of the same home. They detained her and took her to the Lakewood station.
Investigators do not believe there’s an outstanding suspect, an LASD official said.
The victims may be from the same family, but investigators said they were not able to confirm until a further investigation is conducted.
The incident, who authorities believe was isolated, does not pose any danger to the public, deputies said.
