Miranda Lambert Covers The Waylon Jennings Hit “I Ain’t Living Long Like This”

Music

Miranda Lambert is one of the most respected country artists in the genre today, and for good reason… she’s as talented as they come.

Back in 2017, Lambert, who is a Texas native herself, tipped the cap to another Texas country legend, Waylon Jennings.

‘I Ain’t Living Long Like This’ was originally a Rodney Crowell song that Waylon Jennings did in 1979. His version went to number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart.

Now I’m not sure if Waylon Jennings ever had the chance to meet Miranda Lambert, but you’d have to imagine he’d approve of that cover and the decision to stick it to country radio.

Keep doing you, Miranda.
