Multiple vehicles burn in Sun Valley auto recycling yard

SUN VALLEY — A fire damaged multiple vehicles Wednesday in an outdoor area at a recycling yard in Sun Valley, and a firefighter suffered a minor injury while battling the flames.

Firefighters sent to the 11200 block of Vinedale Street at 12:34 p.m. extinguished the fire in 23 minutes, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported. No structures were damaged.

A firefighter was taken to a hospital for treatment of a minor injury, the LAFD reported. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
