Miranda Lambert Partners With Tractor Supply Co. To Donate $250,000 To Animal Shelters Across The Country

Music

Here lately, Miranda Lambert has been making a lot of noise with her new album and her new bar, Casa Rosa.

On top of this, she’s also using her non-profit, MuttNation Foundation, to donate $250,000 to 50 animal shelters in all 50 states, who’ve at-large, been pounded by COVID-19.

Lambert had this to say in an interview with the Tennessean.

“While the pandemic really opened people’s hearts and homes to adopting and fostering in record numbers, shelters were unable to hold their regular fundraising events, which left a big gap.

We know that these funds will help shelters across continue to provide a great environment for their pets, employees, volunteers and the communities at-large that they serve.”

It’s been really cool seeing country stars giving back during this trying time. This donation is going to allow animal shelters to bring in more neglected/homeless animals, and give them the treatment and homes that they deserve.

Lambert started the foundation with her mom, Bev, in 2009 due to their love of animals. Since 2015, MuttNation has partnered with Tractor Supply for the Mutts Across America campaign, benefiting more than 350 shelters and offering $1.25 million in surprise grants. They’ve also provided a surprise $5,000 to each shelter this year.

Hats off to you, Miranda.
