LOS ANGELES — An investigation was underway Friday morning into the shooting death of a man in the unincorporated Florence-Firestone area.
Deputies responded about 10:45 p.m. Thursday to the 1200 block of East 76th Street, near Central Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Details of what led up to the shooting or description of a possible suspect were not immediately available.
