Leland Sklar iconic bass player will be doing an In Store Book Signing for his unique and fabulous coffee table book “Everybody Loves Me.” The book contains 6,000 pictures of people giving Leland the bird including photographs of many of the biggest celebrities on the planet.
The live and in person signing will take place on Saturday, May 8th, 2021 from 2pm to 5:00pm PT. It will be celebrated and presented by L.A. Vintage Gear located at 1206 W. Burbank Blvd. in Burbank California 91506. All covid-19 measures will be in place.
Leland Sklar is a global phenomena who is recognized throughout the music industry as the greatest bass player of our times. He has played for nearly every major artist and has contributed his music to over 2600 albums. Some of the artists included in his repertoire are Michael Jackson, Phil Collins, James Taylor, Rod Stewart, Jackson Browne, Linda Ronstadt, Dolly Parton, Bette Midler, Carly Simon, Jimmy Webb, Carole King, The Doors, Toto, and many others.
Spawned from the Phil Collins farewell tour Leland brought a camera with the intention of making a photo album of everyone who made the tour happen. The first picture he took was of his base tech who gave him the finger which he loved. Over a span of 16 years he managed to take 11,000 photos of middle fingers from all over the world including fans, rock legends, celebrities, and even people who his shared only moments with. Now he has compiled 6000 of those pictures into one massive coffee table extravaganza……
