Coronavirus tracker: California reported 1,151 new cases and 41 new deaths, June 11

California

In California, 1,151 new cases of the coronavirus were reported Thursday, June 10, according to end-of-day totals on public health websites, bringing the total number of cases so far to 3,771,974.

There were 41 new deaths reported statewide Thursday, for a total of 62,836 people who have died from COVID-19.

The state reported 16 fewer hospitalizations from the previous day, bringing the number of current hospitalizations of those infected with the coronavirus to 1,263.

According to the California Department of Public Health, 38.6 million vaccine doses have been administered in the state and 45.5% of residents were fully vaccinated as of Thursday.
