Miranda Lambert Releases Cover Of Hank Snow’s 1950 Classic, “I’m Movin’ On”

Music

You gotta love country stars covering the classics.

Made famous by Canadian country music legend Hank Snow, “I’m Movin’ On” was recorded and released in 1950. It would go on to become Hank’s first-career number one single.

And now, history is coming full-circle once again as Miranda Lambert just released her own cover of the legendary song.

The cover comes from the soundtrack of Netflix’s new trucker film that comes out today, The Ice Road starring Liam Neeson.

The soundtrack to the movie also includes the likes of Jason Isbell covering Johnny Cash’s “All I Do Is Drive,” Tim McGraw singing the Car’s “Drive,” and other cuts from The Cadillac Three, Carly Pearce, Luke Combs, and more.

Enjoy.

And the original, performed live in 1967.
