That’s a good lookin’ race car.
Big Machine label group, home of Carly Pearce, is sponsoring Sam Mayer’s No. 8 Chevy for the Xfinity race tonight at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
As the first race of the Round of 12 in the Xfinity playoffs, Sam is not technically eligible to move forward in the rest of the playoff series as he’s currently sitting in the 34th spot and only the top 12 are considered “in”.
Maybe having Carly on the hood of his car will still bring some good luck, though.
It’s one of the coolest paint schemes I’ve ever seen, and JR Motorsports posted some photos of the paint job that was done in honor of Carly’s recent album, 29: Written In Stone, that just came out last Friday.
Check it out:

Scott Borchetta, who is a former race car driver himself and is currently the CEO of Big Machine Records, is also the owner of Jade Buford’s No. 48 car in the series.
He says he expects big things with the sponsorship of Sam’s car tonight:
“Carly’s album has already hit No. 1 on iTunes so I expect the boys to step up and reach the top spot as well!”
Here’s a look at Jade’s Big Machine Vodka Spiked Coolers Chevrolet paint scheme, as well:
