Brad Paisley To Release New American Highway Reserve Bourbon This Month For… $100 Bucks A Bottle

Music

In the midst of seltzer crazed 2021, we’ve seen several new launches from just about every alcohol company on the planet, introducing their new “hard-seltzer.”

Hell, even Luke Bryan dropped his own hard-seltzer.

However, Brad Paisley ain’t going down that road. He’s going down the bourbon trail.

Announced today, Brad Paisley is dropping his American Highway Reserve Bourbon this month. Needless to say, he’s excited for the release:

“Bourbon is like songwriting, it’s a blend of things coming together to make something incredible. These are really special barrels that saw more of the United States than most people I know.”

It’s so similar to what goes into a great guitar. The right woods, the right craftsmanship, the right alchemy that makes this intangible, magical thing, and that’s what makes this so great to me.”

The first batch, 30,000 bottles, was aged in a 53-foot semi-trailer, which followed Paisley on his 2019 nation-wide tour for 7, 314 miles, and across 25 states. It was blended with three-year, 13-year and 15-year-old Kentucky bourbon.

The upcoming batch will be released in 2022, and was aged on the Rolling Rickhouse during Paisley’s 2021 tour.

The singer paired with the iconic Bardstown Bourbon Company in Bardstown, Kentucky, known as the “Bourbon Capital of the World.”

VP of New Product Development for Bardstown, Dan Callaway, discussed working with Paisley on the new Bourbon:

“You don’t get to see many celebrities that have such a technical palate. It was a super collaboration that resulted in a travelled bourbon in an exemplary expression.”

The 96-proof blend clocks in at an ABV of 48%, and sold at a retail price of, wait for it… $99.99.

Brad… $100 bucks for a bottle of blended bourbon?
