Willie Nelson And His Sons Sing “Pretty Paper” In 2017 Christmas Day Throwback

Music

I imagine Christmas at the Nelson house is full of just as much singing as it is exchanging gifts and normal people holiday traditions.

I say normal because the last thing I would ever want on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day is to hear anyone in my family try to sing a song or play an instrument. And more than one person doing it together? Yeah, no thank you.

Seriously though, everyone in Willie Nelson’s family seems to have some sort of insane musical talent, and today, his son Lukas is sharing a throwback video from Christmas in 2017.

It features Lukas with his dad and brother, Micah, doing an acoustic version of Willie’s classic “Pretty Paper”. We actually just shared the incredible (and true) story of how that song came to be earlier today, so definitely check that out here if you haven’t had a chance to do so yet.

And I think we’re gonna need a Christmas version of the Willie Nelson Family Album next year… ya know, some holiday tunes we could actually enjoy listening to all December long.

I swear, I could listen to them sing together all day no matter what time of the year it is, but this video is pretty cool.

Willie and his sons on Christmas day, at their house on the beach in Hawaii, singin’ their dad’s classic Christmas song… I don’t think it gets any better than that:

“A throwback to 2017 singing this Christmas classic with Dad (@willienelsonofficial) and @particlekid… Merry Christmas!”
