Coronavirus: L.A. County reported 734 new cases and 27 more deaths, March 24

Los Angeles County public health officials reported 734 new cases of the coronavirus, bringing the total number of cases to 2,827,802 as of Thursday, March 24.

Officials reported 27 more deaths linked to the coronavirus, for a total of 31,561 deaths since tracking began.

There 27 fewer hospitalizations reported since Wednesday, bringing the total count of people hospitalized with coronavirus to 3751.

According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 75% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated.
