Eric Church’s “Doing Life With Me” Officially Announced As His Next Single

Music

Well Eric Church already spoiled the news, but now it’s officially official.

During a show in Portland, Oregon back in April, Chief dropped the news on the crowd that “Doing Life With Me” would be his next single.

At the time, his current single “Heart on Fire” was still climbing the charts so we knew it would be a little bit before we got a new one from Church on the radio. But that one recently dropped off the charts after peaking at #2 on the Mediabase and #12 on the Hot Country Songs chart.

So now it’s time for the next one up – and like Church promised, it’s “Doing Life With Me.”

Written by Eric himself, along with longtime collaborators Casey Beathard and Jeffrey Steele, “Doing Life With Me” reads like a “thank you” to those that have been with him from the beginning, through the good times and the bad – especially his wife.

The song, which will hit radio on June 13, will be the first official single from his album, which was released exclusively to his Church Choir fan club members as part of his Heart & Soul triple album.

At the time of Eric’s announcement at his concert, fans were confused by the choice since the album wasn’t even available to the general public.

But “Doing Life With Me” was one of the songs that Eric dropped before the release of the album, and is available on streaming services and YouTube. And not long after teasing that the song would be a single, Church announced that the album would be released to the general public for purchase on vinyl, CD and digital download starting on August 19.

So if you’re not a Church Choir member, you’ll finally be able to listen to the full album in August (and trust me, you’ll want to listen, because it may be my favorite piece of the triple album – especially “Lone Wolf” and “Kiss Her Goodbye”).

But until then, you’ll be hearing “Doing Life With Me” on the radio starting in just a couple of weeks.
