Coronavirus: L.A. County reported 6,529 new cases and nine more deaths, June 29

Los Angeles County public health officials reported 6,529 new cases of the coronavirus since Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,112,364 as of Wednesday, June 29.

Officials reported nine more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Tuesday for a total of 32,325 deaths since tracking began.

There were 28 fewer hospitalizations since Tuesday, bringing the total number of hospitalizations to 779.

According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 76% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated.
