Zach Bryan Reveals He’s Dropping ‘Summertime Blues’ EP, Featuring “Small Town Smokeshow,” Later This Month

Music

Zach Bryan is making my dreams come true.

Just a few days ago, I wrote a post about a new song he debuted a couple weeks back at Bonnaroo called “Small Town Smokeshow” that I immediately fell in love with.

Well, ask and you shall receive, because I asked him on Twitter when we might be lucky enough to get a studio cut of the tune, and as it turns out, we’re only two weeks away, as he confirmed that it’s slated for release on July 15th:

He also confirmed that the entire EP will be out that day.

An unreleased tune called “Matt & Audie” will also be included, though we don’t have much other information in terms of the rest of the tracklist:

Unless you live under a rock, I assumed you’ve heard that Zach just dropped an entire 34-song album, American Heartbreak, in May, so it’s beyond insane that he’s already about to drop more new material.

He’s hinted several times that this Summertime Blues project was in the works for the future, I just didn’t think it’d be so soon.

Not that I’m complaining, though… I’m gonna have this one on repeat all summer long:
