Charity and Volunteer

LA Sanitation and Environment City Facilities Recycling Program’s Toy Drive: Donate new and gently-used toys for children. Items donated go to the Los Angeles County Toy Loan Program that provides access to toys to low-income children. Toys needed include: educational games, video games and video game consoles, dolls and stuffed animals and toys for special needs or children with disabilities. The LA Sanitation and Environment City Facilities Recycling Program requests that “no violent toys or toys that resemble weapons” be donated. Items may be donated, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday, through Aug. 26.
