The United States Postal Service is recruiting for part-time, full-time and seasonal positions in Los Angeles County.
USPS is looking to fill about 500 positions including mail carriers, mail processors and tractor trailer operators.
Those interested in attending the job fairs will be able to ask questions on qualifications needed and job benefits. Postal human resources personnel will also answer questions on applications. Applications may be filled out and submitted at the job fair events.
Upcoming job fairs are all scheduled from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Inglewood Post Office: Oct. 5. Location, 4201 W. Imperial Highway, Inglewood.
West Los Angeles College Job Fair: USPS is participating, Oct. 6. Location, 9000 Overland Ave., Culver City.
Wagner Station: Oct. 12. Location, 2200 Century Blvd., Los Angeles.
El Segundo Post Office “Mega” Job Fair: Hiring fair for post offices in Compton, Culver City, Gardena, Hawthorne, Inglewood, Lawndale, Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, El Segundo and Venice, Oct. 3. El Segundo Post Office, 2130 E. Mariposa Ave.
City of Lynwood Job Fair: Event hosted by the office of Congressmember Nanette Barragan, Oct. 14. City of Lynwood, Bateman Hall, 11331 Ernestine Ave., Lynwood.
Main Office Los Angeles: Oct. 18, and also Oct. 26. Location, 7001 S. Central Ave., Los Angeles.
Bell Gardens Post Office “Mega” Job Fair: Hiring fair for post offices in Bell Gardens, Compton, Downey, Huntington Park, Lynwood and South Gate, Oct. 20. Location, 7001 Garfield Ave., Bell Gardens.

- Be age 18 or oder;
- Pass a drug screening; and
- Pass a criminal background investigation
Starting pay for most positions is $18-$30 per hour, according to a USPS press release.
