Los Angeles County public health officials reported 1,532 more cases of the coronavirus since Saturday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,472,418 as of Monday, Oct. 17.

Officials reported 22 more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Saturday for a total of 33,832 deaths since tracking began.

Hospitalization data is unavailable.

According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 77% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated with 20,249,218 doses administered.
