Los Angeles County public health officials reported 3,410 more cases of the coronavirus since Thursday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,631,736 as of Friday, Dec. 30.

Officials reported 28 more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Thursday for a total of 34,671 deaths since tracking began.

There were 20 fewer hospitalizations since Thursday, bringing the total amount of people hospitalized with coronavirus to 1,249.

According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 77% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated with 21,292,185 doses administered.
