The audio conversation of Clay tearing his bus driver a new one went viral earlier this week, and while it’s not entirely clear what transpired to set Clay off like that, I think we all can agree that it is no way to treat anybody, regardless of job performance.

Clay has since issued a statement clarifying that the incident occurred over a year ago, while also adding that he and the bus driver reconciled immediately and still remain friends. However, for me, the damage is done.
The explicit tirade has officially become part of the meme world, much like many of the famous rants before it… Mel Gibson, Bill O’Reilly, Christian Bale, Tom Cruise… there’s been a ton of fantastic rants over the years, but “drive me smooth mf’er” is now, right up there with Bill O’Reilly’s “We’ll do it live, f*ck it,” in my book.
There have been plenty of funny responses and memes following the leaked audio, but this one might take the cake.
From the Hot Country Knights, the video hilariously intertwines audio of Clay Walker’s now infamous rant and background country music (which sounds like “Drive” by Alan Jackson, so props to the pun work).
The “newly hired Uber Driver,” played by the Knights Russian bandmate Terotej “Terry” Dvoraczekynski, is sent to pick up their first customer, and their first rider just so happens to be an angry Clay Walker.
Audio pulled straight from the viral TikTok video of Walker tearing apart his bus driver is used, and “Terry” does his best to keep up with the curse-riddled rant. As Clay Walker “gets into the Uber,” his audio starts by saying:
“I’m coming over here and I’m going to tell you something. I can whip your ass with one hand tied behind my back. Don’t say a f*cking word.”
The smile and enthusiasm quickly dwindles for Terry in the Instagram video, and he responds by pleading:
“Do not kick my ass in my own car, please”
The Clay Walker rant continues to an incredibly confused Terry as he continues to drive and attempts to reason with the “fake Clay Walker” in his backseat:
“Tomorrow, call your f*cking boss and get me an experienced f*cking driver out here because you are not that. And I’ve been trying to raise you up last night and you’re telling me I’m eating into your f*cking drive time motherf*cker.”
Hilarity ensues.
Of course, the whole video is just a funny play on the whole incident, but you still can’t help but feel bad for Terry on his first day on the job as an Uber driver. Like the caption for the video says:
“One-Star Rating for you sir.”
Should’ve picked him up in pick-up truck…
