Since the release of this track in 2022, “Fire In The Ocean” has quickly become a fan favorite. Combine fans belting the words to this with the electric stage presence of Shane Smith & the Saints, and you have something exceptional.
The group has been touring non-stop over the last few months, most recently laying down a killer liver performance of “Fire In The Ocean” in their home Lone Star State.
During the Cosmic Rodeo in Luckenbach, Texas, they brought out the crowd favorite under a starry-lit sky. One thing I love about seeing Shane Smith live is that you know his energy level will be at a 12/10 each time. Talk about a true performer.
When the melody slows during the bridge, and the guitar solo leads the tempo right before they fire it back up to bring it home during the last chorus, it looks unreal.
