Social Media Erupts After Lainey Wilson Wins ‘Best Country Album’ Grammy Over Zach Bryan & Tyler Childers

Music

Here we go again…

Remember a couple months ago when Lainey Wilson took home the CMA Award for Entertainer of the Year, and fans of Morgan Wallen and Carrie Underwood took to social media to express their shock (and displeasure?)

Well Lainey just won her first-ever Grammy Award for her 2023 album Bell Bottom Country, beating out fellow nominees Zach Bryan for his self-titled album, Tyler Childers for Rustin’ In the Rain, Brothers Osborne for their self-titled album, and Kelsea Ballerini for her album Rolling Up the Welcome Mat.

And the internet can’t believe that she beat out Zach Bryan and Tyler Childers.

And many even thought that Kelsea Ballerini deserved the award over Lainey:

It’s hard to be too upset about Lainey winning the award though. She’s had one hell of a year, completing the trifecta with Bell Bottom Country, winning a Grammy, an ACM Award and a CMA Award for the album.

So you’ve gotta be happy for the Louisiana native taking home her first Grammy – though it probably won’t be her last.
