I’m convinced there’s nothing Jelly Roll can’t sing.
We’ve obviously seen what the rapper-turned-country star can do on classic country hits like Toby Keith’s “Should’ve Been A Cowboy,” and he’s also showed off his old-school rapping and hip hop chops in his live shows with his medley of songs like Eazy-E’s “Boyz-n-the-Hood,” Eminem’s “Lose Yourself,” and Biz Markie’s “Just A Friend.”
Then recently, Jelly even joined Nickelback during their set at Stagecoach to perform the Canadian rock band’s hit “Rockstar.”
Talk about range.
Well this past weekend Jelly Roll showed off his skills in yet another genre when he joined metal/grunge band Limp Bizkit during their set at the Welcome to Rockville Festival at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida.
After his own performance at the festival, Jelly joined lead singer Fred Durst and Limp Bizkit on a performance of one of their biggest hits, a cover of “Behind Blue Eyes” which was originally recorded by The Who.
And not gonna lie, Jelly sounds better than Durst does on this one.
What other tricks do you have up your sleeve Jelly? Gonna pull out some Whitney Houston or Aretha next? Maybe some Guns ‘N Roses? I’m convinced at this point he can sing whatever he wants and knock it out of the park.
