Nashville Area Churchgoers Get A Surprise When Carrie Underwood Shows Up To Lead Worship Service

Music

I mean, they say she has the voice of an angel…and you gotta think a lot more people would be in the pews on Sundays if Carrie Underwood was there to provide the music.

The country music superstar has always been open about her Christian faith, even releasing a gospel album back in 2021 with My Savior.

And yesterday, churchgoers at Rolling Hills Community Church in Franklin, Tennessee, just outside of Nashville, got quite the surprise when Carrie showed up to lead the morning worship service.

Video shows the American Idol winner singing “Goodness of God” by Bethel Music, backed up by the choir and a praise band.

And some people couldn’t believe that the superstar showed up at their church – like these people who probably regretted staying home to watch the service on TV:

“Do we go to church with Carrie Underwood?”

What a powerful moment, seeing a country superstar like Carrie not only talking about her faith during interviews, but using her gifts for church on Sunday too.
