Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 3 Spoilers Promise Political Drama At The Hospital Board

Television

The hospital board is occasionally a thorn in Sharon’s side. If I’m reading Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 3 spoilers right, she’s about to have her worst tangle with them yet.

Sharon receives a chilling message, and Ripley also has to deal with them as the case against him (hopefully!) wraps up.

Meanwhile, Med is taking an unusual step by continuing where it left off with a patient.

What The Heck Is Going On With Sharon?

Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 3 Spoilers Point To Issues With Higher-Ranking Members

TV hospital boards are notoriously bad at running the institutions they are supposed to run.

It’s a tired TV trope at this point. Almost every medical drama has featured a hospital owner or other superpowerful figure who is running the hospital into the ground with nonsensical ideas.

Med already did that with Jack Dayton, so what’s going on now?

The most likely explanation is that Sharon doesn’t agree with the board’s perspective about Ripley.

She’s always been protective of her doctors and has often talked Peter, the annoying board member who appears semi-regularly, out of interfering with them and their treatment plans.

The board can’t fire Ripley for beating up a patient who sued him when Ripley has been proven to have done no such thing, but all the games he played to protect Scully still show questionable judgment.

They may see Ripley as a liability, in which case they might want to fire him.

Sharon also dealt with mass layoffs on Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 2, and the board may have more ideas about how to slash funds.

Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 3 spoilers don’t say so specifically, but something tells me that Sharon’s job may be on the line if she doesn’t comply with their demands.

What could be more chilling than that?

Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 3 Spoilers Don’t Say So, But This Story Has To Be Almost Over

RIpley’s legal problems have been ridiculous since the beginning of the season.

There was no reason for Sharon to assume his juvenile record meant he beat up a patient who is known to lie about everything, including whether he got proper care at Gaffney.

There was no plot twist here, either, as it was obvious that Ripley was covering for Scully and had done nothing wrong.

Right now, this annoying story is going in the direction of problems between Hannah and Ripley for the sake of drama.

The best thing that could come out of this is for Hannah to decide she can do better than a guy who never tells her anything and is determined to self-destruct.

This couple has known each other for less than a year, and in that time, Hannah has poured her heart out to Ripley while he has avoided telling her much about his past.

They are not exactly a match made in heaven.

Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 3 spoilers suggest that we’ll pick up where we left off with their huge argument.

Photos have Hannah looking sad and Ripley mad as hell.

She kept him out of jail, but all he cares about is that his dying friend will have to face consequences at the end of his life.

That should be taken into account at sentencing, and Scully wouldn’t have lived long enough to make Ripley’s sacrifice worth it.

Hannah Has More Serious Problems

Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 3 Spoilers Have Her Trying To Save Several Patients

Most of the time, patients disappear after the end of an episode, but occasionally, someone who is in serious condition is featured in a longer arc.

That’ll happen with Hannah’s pregnant woman who refused to take her schizophrenia meds. Yep, Days of Our Lives‘ Marci Miller is back for a second episode.

She’s in bad shape.

Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 3 spoilers have her in an ambulance, intubated and unconscious.

Hannah will take it hard if this woman doesn’t make it.

She tends to get attached to patient outcomes, and this woman could have been saved if only she and Dr. Charles had convinced her to stay in the hospital and get mental health treatment.

Hopefully, Charles will help her through it if she has any guilt or remorse.

This woman is far from Hannah’s only patient, though, which will make the situation more complicated.

The hospital is still understaffed and expecting a mass influx of patients, and according to Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 3 spoilers, Hannah has at least one more pregnant patient to tend to.

When showrunner Allen MacDonald said he wanted to go big this year, these constant crises because of the closure of another hospital might have been what he meant.

Charles and Hannah both have several patients, and it’s unclear if these are people related to their specialty or if they are being called upon to help out with general emergencies.

Some Other Thoughts

Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 3 Spoilers Don’t Address Everything

As long as the hospital is in crisis, Archer and Lenox will butt heads about how to handle it.

Archer seemed to have thawed toward Lenox a bit in the last episode, but he can only wave the white flag for so long if he thinks Lenox’s ideas are making things worse.

I also wonder what’s up with Frost this week.

There are no specific Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 3 spoilers about him other than a photo depicting him wearing a yellow stethoscope.

Hopefully, he’ll get to show off his pediatric skills more. He spends too much time teasing Maggie about how he’ll grow on her.

What spoilers look good to you? What do you think is up with Sharon? And am I the only one who is impatient for this Ripley legal issues story to be over?
