“Y’all Ain’t Right” – Lainey Wilson Spots Crowd Sign That Reads: “My Wife Gave Me A Hall Pass”

Watch out, Duck, this man is coming for your woman.

Nothing is better than a fan’s sign being recognized during a concert, and no one makes a point to read signs more than Lainey Wilson. She scans the crowd during each of her shows, often finding signs that help make little girls’ dreams come true, like helping a recent fan get a horse trailer.

While most of the fans holding signs are innocent, telling Wilson how much she means to them or saying that this is their first concert, a few sign holders take a slightly more unhinged approach.

Over the weekend, one fan took his sign to the extreme in Wilmington, North Carolina, shooting his shot with the Louisiana native. However, there is one caveat in all of this. Lainey is a kept woman, and the man holding the sign high above his head is married.

Wilson spotted the sign and read it aloud to the crowd before realizing it suggested the two should meet up after the show… If you know what I mean.

“Lainey, you’re #1 on my list. My wife gave me a hall pass.”

Wilson barely makes it through the last word before shaking her head and walking away laughing. She is beyond flustered that a grown man brought a sign that said that into the concert.

“These signs y’all come up with. Y’all ain’t right.”

The crowd begins to crack up with laughter after she makes that last statement, and one man behind the woman videoing the moment is cheering on the man (maybe a little too loudly). I mean, I guess you respect the man for shooting his shot, but I’m going out on a limb to say that his time to get with Wilson has passed for multiple reasons.

At least Lainey Wilson’s boyfriend, Duck Hodges, found the video humorous, leaving numerous laughing emojis on the social media user’s post.
