Boston Bruins Troll Zach Bryan For Reportedly Getting Mad At Brianna Chickenfry For Singing A Morgan Wallen Song

Singing another man’s song?

The Boston Bruins took a not-so-subtle shot at Zach Bryan in their latest TikTok, posting a video of players and staff singing along to Morgan Wallen’s hit song “Last Night” – which Zach apparently doesn’t appreciate it.

If you don’t know the backstory, or why that’s such an incredible troll move, it’s in response to a revelation from his ex-girlfriend, Barstool Sports personality Brianna Chickenfry (whose real name is Brianna LaPaglia). During the latest episode of her BFFs podcast, which she co-hosts alongside Josh Richards and Barstool founder and CEO Dave Portnoy, Brianna opened up on her breakup with the country music superstar – and painted a disturbing picture of his behavior while they were together.

In one particularly ridiculous story, Brianna recalled Zach flying off the handle after she had a Morgan Wallen song stuck in her head:

“We were out the night before, and one morning I woke up and I was scrolling TikTok, and ‘Last night, we let the liquor talk,’ was stuck in my head.

And I walk up the stairs in the New York apartment, and I’m singing, I’m about to make breakfast or something like that… He freaked the f*** out.  Like, freaked the f*** out.

He could not believe, ‘You’re singing another man’s song under my roof, in this house, that I own.’ It was a fight for, I think, a week. It’s a Morgan Wallen song. I don’t know…”

If that’s true, it’s absolutely insane.

Well both Portnoy and Brianna happen to be from the Boston, Massachusetts area, so it’s no surprise that they have a lot of support up there. And the Boston Bruins decided to show their support for Bri – and take a not-so-subtle shot at Zach Bryan – in their latest TikTok video.

@nhlbruinsJust a little song stuck in our head today.

Amazing.

Naturally, the people in the comments who understood the jab were loving it:

“I’m so glad I’m deep down the rabbit hole and know exactly what this means”

“Wait did I just become a bruins fan”

“Omg the internet has no chill and I’m here for it!”

“This is just too good. Your social media team deserves a raise.”

Safe to say the Bruins are team Bri.

Of course it hasn’t been a great week for Zach on the internet. Not only did Brianna spill about their relationship (and if you haven’t listened, it definitely didn’t paint him in a good light), but Portnoy and Richards also released a diss track called “Smaller Man” that has taken over social media – even after attempts to have it taken down by Zach’s label, Warner Music Group.

The country singer has seemed to take the “just post through it” approach, and hasn’t acknowledged the controversy or Bri telling her story. But it doesn’t seem like ignoring it is going to make it go away – especially after the notoriously petty and outspoken Dave Portnoy has a champagne bottle with your name on it to drink after your downfall.
