Sometimes, you have to take a dance break.
Riley Green is known for swooning women on stage with his hot and heavy songs like “Worst Way” or cutting a deep chord with “Jesus Saves.” However, Alabama songwriter is not always strictly business when performing.
We at Whiskey Riff love seeing artists interact with their fans while performing, and Riley Green recently shared a clip of him interacting with the venue team, which warmed our hearts.
Without the hard work from venue security and other various team members, the concerts we love to attend would not be up and running like they are. These team members go above and beyond to ensure the performing artists’ safety, concert attendees’ safety, and venue cleanliness. However, the importance of these roles often goes unrecognized. Riley Green, however, went out of his way to brighten up a security member’s day during a recent show.
Taking a break during his set, Riley Green stepped to the side stage. Before heading back out to finish the show, he got his energy levels back up by having a dance party with one of the security members.

Arm in arm with the security guard, they move their hips side to side to the beat of the music. After a few moments, she hands Green his guitar, and they have one last little shimmy together before he heads back out on the stage to round out his performance. The moment is so wholesome, and the security guard bends over, clapping with a giant smile afterward.
Mission accomplished. Her day was made, and she will never forget that moment.
